Founded in London, Folde is the shared design studio for jewellery Designer-Makers Robyn Smith & Birgit Toke Tauka Frietman. Folde meaning earth in Old English, seeks to celebrate natural materials & British craftsmanship in jewellery that speaks of everyday luxury. With an intimate understanding of silver & horn respectively, the collection strikes a harmonious balance between the two materials & two practices. These are wearable sculptures, made using pressed Highland horn - a byproduct of the meat industry - and recycled silver with gold plating available to order. Handcrafted sustainably in the UK. Some pieces are one of a kind.
